Texas Health Huguley Medical Office Building: Meet the Project Team

July 9, 2026

The Texas Health Huguley Medical Office Building and Ambulatory Surgery Center recently reached its topping out milestone, marking another major step toward bringing expanded healthcare services to the Burleson community.

Located on the Texas Health Resources Huguley campus, this ground-up healthcare medical office building construction project is designed to bring multiple services together in one carefully coordinated facility, creating a connected patient experience from diagnosis and treatment through surgery and recovery.

The three-story Medical Office Building (MOB) and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) includes a core-and-shell package featuring canopies, curtainwall systems, CMU, metal panels, 353 parking spaces, and a detention pond across a 207,000-square-foot site.

Once complete, each level will serve a unique clinical purpose:

Level 1

  • MRI suite and control room
  • CT room
  • DEXA scan
  • X-ray services
  • Five treatment rooms
  • Physical therapy space
  • Supporting clinical areas

Level 2

  • Two X-ray rooms
  • 36 exam rooms
  • Support spaces for Lone Star Orthopaedic

Level 3

  • Four operating rooms
  • Sterile processing
  • Pre-op and PACU
  • Pain procedure room
  • Ambulatory surgery center support spaces

Together, these environments will help make specialized healthcare services more accessible and connected for patients throughout Burleson and the surrounding communities.

Delivering a facility of this scope requires extensive planning and coordination. Multiple healthcare environments must come together under one roof, each with unique infrastructure requirements, medical equipment needs, patient flow considerations, and regulatory standards.

Leading that effort is the Skiles Group project team: Michael Knapp, Jeff Witte, Mario Delgado, Isaac Torres, Nathan Helt, Jordan Rodriguez, Ryan Pence, and Israel Martinez. Their work includes managing site logistics, building systems, clinical spaces, trade partner coordination, sequencing, and the countless details required to successfully deliver a modern healthcare facility.
