May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we were proud to join NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), SAMHSA (the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and Mental Health America in this national movement to reduce the stigma around mental illness and prioritize our health and well-being. These topics are especially important for our industry, and our focus in May was to raise awareness around the mental health crisis in construction.
Skiles Group kicked off our Mental Health Awareness Month activities with a picnic and some fresh air amongst the wildflowers at Crowley Park in Richardson, Texas.
