An empty field in Sherman is becoming the next chapter in a story that began nearly 40 years ago.
RGB Cataract & LASIK was founded in Sherman in 1987 and has since grown to serve patients throughout North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. That growth is continuing with the future Red River ASC, a new ambulatory surgery center that will expand RGB’s footprint in the Sherman community.
Skiles Group recently joined the RGB team and project partners to celebrate the Red River ASC groundbreaking and the official start of construction on the new 8,500-square-foot facility.
Designed to support safe, comfortable, and efficient patient care, the state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center will include three operating rooms, pre-op and PACU bays, and dedicated patient and staff spaces.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Dr. William Plauche thanked the RGB staff for the care they provide to patients and shared his enthusiasm for what the new facility will make possible.
Today, it may be a rendering in an empty field, but not for long. We’re proud to help RGB build what comes next: a place where its team can continue caring for the Texoma community for years to come.
