The biggest challenge posed by this 150-foot tower crane installation at Methodist Richardson Medical Center? We did it while keeping the hospital and the ER entrance completely open and accessible.
We also had very limited space in which to work—an active emergency room on one side and a 7-story parking garage on the other. It took 12 hours, 18 truckloads, coordination teams from five different companies, and two cranes to erect.
