Summary
The Children’s Health Andrews Institute added a full-service physical therapy clinic to the Children’s Health Specialty Center in Prosper, TX. This 2,500 SF finish-out shell space includes an open space gym housing state-of-the-art exercise equipment and an open rehabilitation space. Clinician support spaces are closely integrated with the gym space and include exam rooms, shared workspace, offices, and an ADA shower room.
Creating an effective outpatient environment requires careful coordination of clinical spaces, rehabilitation areas, staff needs, and patient flow. This project reflects many of the same considerations involved in medical office renovations and clinic build-outs.
