Receiving two 2025 Associated General Contractors (AGC) Build America Awards is a meaningful recognition of our team’s dedication and craftsmanship—an honor that reflects the care and commitment behind every project we take on.
We received a Build America Award for Methodist Health System’s Methodist Richardson Medical Center Emergency Department Expansion (Richardson, TX)—a complex, three-phase vertical expansion that added critical capacity, including 15 new patient rooms, a renovated trauma unit, and a new pharmacy and lab—all completed while keeping the emergency department fully operational.
We also received a Merit Award for the Nexus Health Las Soleras Medical Office Building and Comprehensive Cancer Care Center (Santa Fe, NM)—a ground-up, 90,859 SF facility that consolidates a full spectrum of specialty services—including radiation, imaging, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, and more—into one comprehensive space. The project includes a separate LINAC vault and future-ready shell space.
We’re proud of what these honors represent: collaboration, innovation, and our team’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare spaces in active, high-stakes environments.
These awards belong to the teams that brought these projects to life. Thank you to Gilbert McBrien, Russell Jones, Michael Knapp, Lucas Wilke, and Nathan Wilke, for representing Skiles Group at the AGC Convention and Build America Awards Ceremony in Columbus, Ohio.
