Over 20 Team Members Attend LCI Congress

October 29, 2025

What a week in Arlington at the Lean Construction Institute’s LCI Congress 2025! It was inspiring to welcome people from across the country—and around the globe—to our Texas home. So many familiar and new faces, meaningful connections, and shared purpose.

We showed up in force, with more than 20 team members representing every stage of the Lean journey—from those just beginning to those presenting and giving back to this incredible community. The support, encouragement, and genuine smiles reminded us that Lean’s culture of respect for people and continuous improvement is alive and well.

In addition to joining as attendees, we had five Skiles Group team members on the agenda as speakers, including:

  • Seth Harrison and Thomas Hardy joined a superintendent-led session on “Drawing Up the Winning Play: Game-Changing Visual Communication Tools.” They shared the tools and systems they rely on daily, including weekly work planning, Kanban boards, area boards, and innovative floor planning.
  • Michael Knapp and Katayoun “Kattie” Mokhtarzadeh joined the session on “Beyond Buy-In: Experiencing Alignment Through Conditions of Satisfaction & True North.” They shared how early alignment reshapes everything downstream to build trust, create shared purpose, and ensure every voice is heard from day one.
  • Keyan Zandy co-led a workshop on “Builder 2.0.” He shared what it means to be a great builder today, when time, budgets, and manpower are tighter than ever. The workshop covered planning and time management, communication and listening, and leadership and motivation.
