Skiles Group recently celebrated a major milestone at the new Olney Hamilton Hospital: the placement of the final structural beam on this 40,000 SF greenfield facility.
Topping out ceremonies honor the moment a building reaches its highest point—and in Olney, it also marks the community’s commitment to strengthening rural healthcare for future generations.
As an experienced hospital construction contractor, Skiles Group is proud to work alongside healthcare providers to create facilities that improve access to care and strengthen the communities they serve.
It was a privilege to celebrate alongside:
▪️Olney Hamilton Hospital staff, board of directors, and CEO Mike Huff
▪️City of Olney officials, including the Mayor and City Council
▪️Our project partners at GUIDE Architecture, LLC, Certus Consulting Engineers, and Trinity Hughes Construction
▪️Medical staff, including Chief of Staff Dr. Mark L. Mankins and Board President Dale Lovett
Speeches, signatures, and the ceremonial beam—complete with an evergreen tree and American flag—capped off a great day honoring teamwork, progress, and community impact.
Thank you to our Skiles Group team members who were there to represent: Tony Dougherty, Brent R. Brown, Zachary Wymer, Bradley Dominey, and Brian Webster. And thanks as well to our dedicated trade partners.
