Methodist Midlothian ED Expansion Topping Out Milestone

April 7, 2026

Skiles Group recently celebrated a major milestone at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center: the placement of the final structural beam for the Emergency Department Expansion.

Topping out ceremonies mark the moment a building reaches its highest point—and in Midlothian, it reflects a continued investment in expanding emergency care for a rapidly growing community.

This 8,500-square-foot expansion will double the size of the existing ER, adding 16 exam rooms, a new trauma room, and an upgraded CT scanner to enhance diagnostic capabilities, along with site improvements to support patient and visitor access.
