2016 Fall Prevention Safety Stand Down

With falls still being the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry, this week we hosted Fall Prevention Safety Stand Downs on 8 of our projects in 2 states with over 180 workers in partnership with OSHA, TEXO, NIOSH, NORA, ASSE, NCSE, CPWR, the National Safety Council, OSHA Training Institute Education Centers, and the U.S. Air Force. To show that safety awareness and education is important for everyone, all work was temporarily stopped on these job sites where we provided refreshments and safety training on the three most common types of falls: those from ladders, those from scaffolds, and those from elevated surfaces.
