No elves on the payroll, no red suit in view,
Just Santa’s helpers—our Skiles Group crew!
No snow on the ground, no sleigh bells in sight,
But together we helped to make Christmas bright
For kids who deserve more than the hand they were dealt,
And made sure there’s holiday happiness felt.
Fuzzy blankets, new books, dolls, and huggable bears,
Games, trucks, and more—all gathered with care.
We packed it all up and took the whole bounty,
To the Children’s Advocacy Center here in Collin County—
A place where hard days meet patience and grace,
And healing begins in a comforting space.
Because sometimes a toy is much more than a toy,
It’s comfort. It’s love. It’s a moment of joy.
And if that’s the magic this season can bring,
Then this seems like the very best kind of a thing
We could give to others—a gift not held but felt deep,
Is both one we can offer and one we can keep.
