We had an incredible evening at TEXO The Construction Association’s 2024 Holiday and Awards Gala, celebrating outstanding people across our industry—and honoring our very own Clay Harrison and Katayoun “Kattie” Mokhtarzadeh.
- Clay was honored with the esteemed TEXO Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his significant and lasting contributions to the construction industry and the profound impact he has made throughout his career. A poignant and fitting award as Clay embarks on his retirement.
- Kattie was awarded the Volunteer Leader of the Year Award for her outstanding dedication and leadership as a TEXO committee member. She serves on the TEXO Foundation Board, leads as Programming Chair for the Young Constructor’s Council Steering Committee, and has generously given her time to countless volunteer initiatives.
Both awards were presented by TEXO President & CEO Meloni McDaniel Raney.
The event was also bittersweet as TEXO awarded the inaugural Buddy Brumley Legacy Award in honor and memory of our dear team member who we lost in August 2024. Our CEO Keyan Zandy and Jennifer Lacy of Robins & Morton were on hand to present the award to Jerold Nichols with Amber Electrical Contractors.
