Skiles Group hosted safety standdowns across all of our projects in May, in conjunction with the OSHA National Safety Standdown to Prevent Falls and NAMI for Mental Health Awareness Month.
We also hold these standdowns to serve as worker appreciation events and celebrate their efforts. With falls remaining the leading cause of injury and death in our industry, we focused on addressing safety concerns related to ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and fall harnesses. With respect to mental health awareness, we held discussions on the topic of suicide prevention and shared resources.
