In construction, nothing is more important than the safety of our workers, and in recognition of our efforts towards achieving and maintaining safe jobsites we were honored to have been presented with two awards at the TEXO Construction Safety Professional’s Day event, held earlier this month:
ABC STEP Diamond Award — the ABC STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Process) is a safety benchmarking and improvement tool that is based on a 20 key-component self-evaluation score to improve a company’s safety performance as well as measuring other elements, such as firm’s incidence rate, EMR, and OSHA compliance over a 3-year timespan.
AGC Certificate of Commendation — this recognizes firms who have achieved an incidence rate 25% below the national division average over a 3-year timespan.
These kinds of achievements wouldn’t be possible without the attention and dedication of our safety director, Brian Webster, CSHO, and all of the men and women who supervise and work on our projects.
