With falls still being the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry, this week Skiles Group is hosting Fall Prevention Safety Stand Downs on all of our projects in 2 states with all of our workers in partnership with OSHA, TEXO, NIOSH, NORA, ASSE, NCSE, CPWR, the National Safety Council, OSHA Training Institute Education Centers, and the U.S. Air Force. To raise awareness of fall hazards, all work is being stopped on our sites where we are providing lunch and safety training on the three most common types of falls: those from ladders, those from scaffolds, and those from elevated surfaces.
